The Trinity is a simple concept but complicated to explain. Three people with individual personalities, abilities, and roles. They talk to each other and call each other by name. One in their nature, their character, their authority, and their unity.

The word Elohim refers to the trinity. JHWH usually refers to The Father.

* The Father, aka God, The Creator, the self-existent one. Often appears as a man, usually very big, and the bible describes him as having white hair.
* The Son, aka Jesus, The Word, the first born. Appears as a man with the marks from the cross still visible.
* The Holy Spirit, aka The Partner ("Comforter"). Appears on earth as a dove, and often in heaven as blue fire.

== Angels ==

Several angels are commonly mentioned in scripture or by people who see heaven.

* Gabriel - Apparently the chief Messenger, he appeared to Daniel and Mary and identified himself by name.
* Michael - Apparently the chief Warrior, possibly the captain of the hosts that Joshua met.
* Raphael - Apparently the chief Accountant. Mentioned in the apocrypha, thought to be "the angel of Jahweh" mentioned in the Bible.
* Lucifer - Apparently the chief Worship leader, the fallen angel. This name occurs only once in the bible, but is actually translated from the word praise (hallel), which is rather strange. In other places, such as Revelations, the fallen one is referred to by several different names including "the Accuser", "the Devil", "the Serpant", and "Satan".
* Baalzebub - A term the Pharisees used when discussing spiritual power with Jesus. zebub means chief and baal was an old hebrew word which referred to the idol worship that took place in Israel for nearly a thousand years. By Jesus' time it apparently meant "demon prince". I included this hear because it is used as a name in Pilgrim's Progress.
* Apollyon - Hebrew "abbadon", Greek "apolyon", Latin "apollo". The angel of the bottomless pit. A star falls from heaven and is given the key to the bottomless pit. He opens it and battle locusts come out. And they have a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit.
